The public has an opportunity to Meet the Artist at Art Norby’s Artist Reception right after the workshop. Get into the private world of Arthur H Norby as a painter, sculpture and author.

Artist’s statement: “It is never my intention to create scale models of things, but rather to create my impression of the model’s essence as in one deep breath held forever. My subjects are as varied as my method of depicting them… By and large life is made up of small defining moments. Yet, after working for more than twenty-five years as an Artist, I cannot identify the exact point in time or single event that caused me to take this path, for there were many. And there may well be more which I am have yet to discover.  Some of those with whom I grew up seemed to know from childhood the route that would be theirs, but I was nearly forty before I found mine, and I am pleased to still be on a journey of self-discovery.”
