Flying Through the Fundamentals of Watercolor Painting
Join local artist, Heather Smith, at the Bird Island Cultural Centre for a quick start class on the basics of watercolor painting. In this class you will be learning the basics of art theory, brush strokes, basic watercolor techniques, and the most common styles of watercolor; as well as planning and practicing for your own individual composition, which will be started in class. A kit is included in the cost of registration which will provide all the supplies you will need for this class and enable you to spread your wings on your own watercolor journey upon completion of the class. You will receive your kit on the first day of class.
This three-week course will be offered October 3rd, 10th and 17th, 2023 from 9:30am – 11:30am.
Class size limited to 10 participants.
Due to the high demand for this class registration is online only.
Registration deadline is September 23, 2023.
